Slater
House Reject to Blue Ribbon Pony
By Candace, Age 12
My pony
April was almost domed to the sentience of death by being sold to the
slater house. I was lucky enuf to be found by me and my Mom. No matter
how awful it my sound to be a 9 year olds first pony (talk about a holy
terror )! She and I later became best friends after 2 broken arms, to
many stopped toes, and lot of threats to send her back to the divil
him self (was a running joke around by house that she was his riding
pony ). After we had accomplished each others trust, we started to show
with the 4-h this year now we are the 7th best walk jogers in the state.
All from a mix breed pony. We do not only show we do pony rides, ride
in parades, trail ride, and we also ride all on the roads (so she hardly
spooks at any thing any more ).
We are
now insobrobole and are as close as we could be. I can ride her by only
halter on the roads!
