Dear
Shareholders As
the holiday season approaches I wanted to share the following update
with you. We currently have the following brands under our umbrella:
'Lucky Stars Collection',
'No More Night Mares', 'Armadillo Cowboy Club', 'I
Sea Horses' & ' Wild Heart Ranch is continuing operations privately, currently funded internally by myself (as has been the case for the past several years) and subsidized by my other businesses. We shifted our focus back to specialty markets and have introduced several new lines in the past two years. We are also concentrating on online sales and recently had a book distributor (Baker and Taylor) get our books listed at several well known online retailers including Barnes and Noble and Amazon. For the first time, we have some real visibility in the market. If we can successfully drive consumers to the online outlets, we can hope to start to generate some respectable sales numbers. The toy business has had a few bad years and consumer trends and patterns have shifted dramatically. The products kids buy at age 9 and up have changed from basic toys to video games and electronics. Our blend of of plush toys has a smaller audience and it’s more competitive than ever. We are hoping the online presence of our books will help create more brand awareness for the toys as well. We currently have one in-house sales rep and a few external sales reps marketing our brands, with our primary focus on our web site and PR. We are trying to build and expand our sales rep base to get additional distribution. Our success is mixed, with accolades and awards from reviewers and toy analysts, but our sales traction is still very minimal and we have not penetrated the mass retail markets to date. Sales have not covered day to day operations, overhead, new manufacturing, or product development since our funding from investors prior to 2001. Since then, it has all been subsidized by my other businesses to allow the venture we all started as a group to continue. I have not given up, in spite of the obvious financial reasons to do so . For me, Wild Heart Ranch is a company with products from the heart that I am proud of. We have donated to and supported numerous children's charities as we tried to create brand awareness for our unique lines of toys and books. For awards and reviews of Wild Heart Ranch product lines, please visit: http://www.wildheartranch.com/toysBooks/tb_reviews.htm Our new line for 2005, "Bradford and the Journey to the Desert of Lop", has recently won awards and I would like to share the launch with our shareholders as we receive the first inventory of books within the next month. Please call, fax or email us and request a hard cover book as a token of our appreciation. This book is our most important product launch to date in terms of content. Please visit the website to get more details on this brand.
Please identify
yourself as follows:
I will continue to market the brands through our web site as long as my personal funds allow, or until the company can begin to generate enough cash flow to keep operations going.
Please visit our web site and review the corporate section for
